What Toolsera is
Toolsera is a collection of free online tools for developers and everyday tasks: formatters and converters, calculators, and PDF, image, data and text tools. Every tool is free, needs no sign-up and works on phones as well as computers. The site is supported by advertising.
How the tools and guides are made
- Standard methods. Calculators use the standard published formulas (for example the reducing-balance EMI formula and the WHO BMI bands), and we explain the formula on the page so that you can check the result yourself.
- Worked examples. The examples on tool pages and in the guides are calculated with the same code that powers the tools.
- Honest limits. Where a tool has limits, for instance it cannot merge password-protected PDFs, or a BMI figure is only a screening measure, we say so on the page.
- Not professional advice. Financial, tax and health calculators give general information. Check important decisions with a qualified professional or the official source.
How we treat your data
Most tools run on our server, so the text and files you submit are sent to it. Uploaded files are deleted automatically within 1 hour, and we do not keep the text you enter. The privacy policy has the full details.
Corrections and ideas
If you find a mistake in a tool or a guide, or want a tool added, please get in touch. We fix confirmed errors and update the “updated” date on the affected guide. Use the contact page or email admintoolsera@gmail.com.
