QR code generator

Make a QR code for text, a link, a contact card (vCard), Wi-Fi, email, SMS, phone, WhatsApp, a map location, a calendar event or a UPI payment. Download as PNG or SVG, copy or share.

1. What is the QR code for?

Any text: a note, a message, a code, a Wi-Fi tip…

2. Details

🔒 Your details are used only to draw the code and aren’t stored. Nothing is saved on our servers.

3. Style & size optional
Higher error correction keeps the code scannable if it’s printed small or slightly damaged, but makes it denser.

About QR code generator

The QR code generator turns text, a link, a contact card, your Wi-Fi login, a UPI payment request and more into a QR code that any phone camera can scan. Choose what the code is for, fill in a short form and the code updates as you type.

Contact cards use the vCard format, so scanning offers to save the name, phone, email, company and address straight into the phone's contacts. Wi-Fi codes let guests join your network without typing the password, and UPI codes open GPay, PhonePe, Paytm or BHIM with your payee details filled in.

Download your code as a PNG for documents and social posts or as an SVG that stays sharp at any print size, copy the image, or share it straight from your phone. Your details are used only to draw the code and are never stored.

You may also know this as: qr-code-generator, qr-code, vcard-qr, wifi-qr.

QR code generator FAQ

How do I make a QR code for my contact details?

Choose “Contact card”, enter your name, phone, email and any other details, then download the code. Anyone who scans it can save you to their contacts in one tap. You can also download the same details as a .vcf file.

Can I make a QR code for my Wi-Fi password?

Yes. Choose “Wi-Fi”, enter the network name and password and pick the security type (most home networks use WPA/WPA2). Guests scan the code with their camera and join the network without typing anything.

Can I accept UPI payments with this QR code?

The UPI type makes a standard payment QR with your UPI ID and name, and an optional fixed amount. Any UPI app can scan it. Always scan your own code and send a small test payment before you print it.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The information is stored in the code itself, so it never expires, can’t be switched off and doesn’t depend on our website. For the same reason a printed code can’t be changed afterwards.

PNG or SVG: which should I download?

Use PNG for websites, messages and documents. Use SVG for print, such as posters, packaging and business cards, because it stays perfectly sharp at any size.

Why won’t my QR code scan?

Keep a dark code on a light background, leave the white border around it, make sure it’s not printed too small and raise the error correction if the code is dense. The generator warns you when the colours have too little contrast.
